A Synesthetic World: Synaesthesia Poem!
The Theatre of Sound
If I could paint one thing
I’d paint you a canvas of
All the fireworks in my head
When the radio comes on.
And the bright sharp shooting stars
Of electric guitars and the
Dry paintbrush strokes in turquoise
Of that particular violin and the
Water-drops of a piano and the
Pentagons of a cymbal loop, flashing.
